Ever since Uemiss descended upon Esperia, the Void Realm had relentlessly watched over the land. It forged the Black Star from primordial power and cast it down upon the skies of Esperia. However, with Morael's fierce resistance, the Black Star shattered into three fragments, slicing through the sky like daggers and plunging into the land below. Morael knew their fate was sealed—the Void Realm's power had already infiltrated the land. Her thoughts went back to the prophecy Dura had given her: "In the wake of chaos, the Black Star shall fall. Twin wills shall converge, and the ring of fate shall turn anew. Yet as the stars assemble, only one shall shine forth—a single, unblemished light." At the time, Morael was gravely wounded in battle with the strange dark substance and was brought back to Esperia by Dura for healing. The kind-hearted mother goddess, after revealing the secrets of the Void Realm, entrusted the future of Esperia to her—more specifically, to her and her sister, Audrae, who was born from the same will of the Zohra Nebula. Morael couldn't help but wonder: if they had failed to save the nebula they were born from, why would this wise goddess place the planet's fate in their hands? Though Morael and Audrae were both born from the will of the Zohra Nebula, they were like two sides of the same coin. Morael represented control and correction, while Audrae embodied freedom and exploration. Their ideals had never aligned, especially when it came to saving the nebula. Morael viewed Audrae's carefree attitude as a liability in their efforts to save the nebula, while Audrae felt Morael's stubbornness blinded her from the root of the problem. But as the nebula teetered on the brink of destruction, the two eventually joined forces to try and save their home from being consumed by the Void Realm. Morael held the nebula's orbit steady, while Audrae breathed life and vitality into it. Yet, the people of the star system weren't as united as they had hoped. Their beliefs were divided, with the powerful carving out their own domains, and some even turning to the Void Realm in order to survive. In the end, the once-glorious nebula couldn't escape the darkness' grasp. After traveling the vast reaches of the universe, Audrae reunited with Morael, only to learn that her sister had made up her mind: if the planet could not be saved, she would rather destroy it herself, along with the dark forces, to protect other planets from suffering the same fate. Audrae, who had always been carefree, frowned in thought for the first time after hearing Morael's words. "Morael, the planet of Esperia, like the Zohra Nebula before it, is under attack from the power of the Void Realm. Perhaps our experiences led Dura to see some potential in us. Maybe she hopes we'll work together again..." "Esperia is not the Zohra Nebula," Morael retorted coldly. "The factions on this planet are more fractured than anything we've ever seen. How could such weak mortals possibly escape the fate they deserve?" "They may be weak, but they still have hope. Don't let the fear of failure hold you back from joining forces with me again and denying them the opportunity to resist." "Have you forgotten, Audrae?" Morael's tone remained emotionless. "Even when we did work together, we still failed. The mortals' division and ignorance destroyed our home forever." "Yes, we failed before, but that doesn't mean we're destined to fail forever," Audrae replied, meeting her gaze. "Didn't Dura leave us with a prophecy?" "'Twin wills shall converge, and the ring of fate shall turn anew.' She needs us to complete what we couldn't before—to work together and help the mortals of this planet repel the forces of the Void Realm." The mention of Dura's prophecy gave Morael pause. After a moment of silence, she finally said, "Mortals can't be trusted. The burden of saving this planet cannot rest on their shoulders. If this planet isn't worth saving... I will carry out my original plan. Dura will know I had no other choice." As the Void Realm's power materialized into the Astral Devourer, fed by desire, it arrived on Esperia's land exactly as Morael had predicted. In no time, it rallied the Hypogeans to launch an all-out war. The chaos erupted like a storm, plunging Esperia into a dangerously unstable state. Morael could feel the Void Realm's grip on the planet intensifying at an alarming rate. She was forced to channel all her energy, just as she had once done to protect the Zohra Nebula, to stabilize Esperia's orbit and keep it from being dragged into the abyss. At the same time, Audrae called upon the power of the stars, infusing the planet with life force to counter the chaotic force of destruction wrought by the Hypogeans and easing Morael's burden of correction. However, as the Draconis faction poured all their strength into the fight, the heroes empowered by Draconis Gems summoned the courage to stand firm and fought valiantly on the frontlines against the Hypogeans. The once fractured factions began to lay down their differences and slowly came together. The Hypogean army sent by the Astral Devourer surged forward like a black tide, but the life on this planet did not retreat even a single step. A Lightbearer soldier, gravely wounded from a powerful blow by a Hypogean, was on the brink of collapse when a Mauler warrior, fierce and quick, intervened, blocking the deathblow. Meanwhile, the Wilder healers devoted themselves to treating the wounded soldiers, using the life force from the forest to not only heal their wounds but also soothe their hearts, which had been tainted by the Hypogean's corruption. Even the Graveborn, who isolated themselves from the other factions, surged forward like a tide under their king's command, forming a defensive line against the enemy. Even though their armor was tattered and broken, the mortal soldiers' eyes remained resolute as they fought with all their might against the Hypogeans. This scene played out in every corner of the battlefield, with unity and courage shining brightly at every turn. Morael watched all of this unfold and thought back to the people who once lived in the Zohra Nebula. Back then, they were stronger than the mortals now, yet they were never as united as these mortals were. "Morael, do you see this? The unity is something we've never witnessed in any other star system." "It's still far from enough," Morael replied coldly. "Even if their unity can halt the Void Realm's forces from a further invasion, their power will never be enough to drive back this darkness." "Esperia has given us an answer far more remarkable than the Zohra Nebula ever did," Audrae said with a smile. "Fate may be set, but we can choose how to face it, can't we? They've shown us there's hope in resistance." "The Zohra Nebula has always been our regret. If this planet can be saved because of it, escaping its fate..." Morael sighed softly, no longer arguing. "But Audrae, the prophecy that Dura gave to this planet has mostly come true, though it still lacks the final piece—the moment when the stars converge, leaving only one shining star, pure and strong... I guess, only one of us must sacrifice for the other's strength to fully focus. Only then can we, together with this planet's power, completely destroy the embodiment of the Void Realm's power." Audrae was slightly taken aback, but quickly smiled. "Then, sister, keep fighting. You are the holder of the Heart of Zohra, and only you can wield the nebula's essence. The power of the stars in me will support you." "I can't choose for you to make that sacrifice," Morael replied softly, gently throwing the Heart of Zohra up into the air. The nebula's essence wrapped around her, gleaming like a star. "Your unwavering spirit has brought me hope, Audrae. If you carried this power, I know you'd never lose your way." "No, sister, you're wrong. This planet is giving birth to new hope, and we should do the same." Audrae did not accept the nebula's essence from Morael but instead transformed the starry bow in her hand back into the power of the stars, flowing toward the Heart of Zohra. As the two halves of the Zohra Nebula, Morael and Audrae had never truly been opposites. In this moment, they fully reconciled their conflicting ideals and purposes. The ancient nebula's power, once the two wills aligned, fused together, becoming whole once more. "Sister, look, in Dura's prophecy, the final piece isn't one of us, but both of us." Audrae extended her hand toward Morael, who immediately grasped it without hesitation. Before they fully merged, Audrae wore her usual mischievous smile. "Order and freedom were never meant to be a choice between one or the other." A brilliant light erupted, and the unified will of the Zohra Nebula slowly opened its eyes. The nebula's essence once again gathered into an even more powerful Heart of Zohra, and the goddess known as "Zohra" scattered the boundless stars across the skies of Esperia. On the ground, the Astral Devourer, unable to hold back any longer, had joined the final battle, but its every movement was closely watched by her from the celestial veil above. "Next, it's time for us to strike back."
