Second son to the Permanent Chief's family, a prince of his people but no future king, Torgny had remained a relatively little known presence on Ceroli Islands before the outbreak of the Crisis, and yet the seeds of his eventual notoriety had been sown much earlier by his ruthless ambition and envy towards his elder brother, Garlo. Torgny wasted no effort in building a strong powerbase and sowing such divisions and questions of legitimacy as he could in over two decades garrisoning the northern ranges. If there was one spark that lit the coup's match it was rumors of Logar's involvement in forbidden heresy. Torgny's elite troops quickly surrounded the Citadel of Braves and his coronation as the new "Permanent Chief" came not long after.
