Khazard explodes, dealing an initial 130% damage to all enemies on the battlefield, causing the battlefield to become enveloped in a "Frozen Mist" for 14 seconds. While the frozen mist is present, enemies will suffer 45% damage per second and enemies with health lower than 30% will become frozen until they are able to recover 30% of their health or the mist disappears.

Khazard fires 3 "Glacial Shards" in multiple directions. Each glacial shard deals 150% damage to the enemies which are struck, also causing them to lose 50 Haste points for 4 seconds. Any enemies that are struck by multiple ice shards will be dealt 50% less damage by subsequent shards after the second glacial shard.

Profile

Before becoming a Hypogean, Khazard was an Elemental Guardian. Just like his successor Seirus, he was born from the waves of the sea, fulfilling the mission of the gods and becoming the Guardian of the Tides. He and four other Elemental Guardians represent and maintain the harmonious balance of the five natural elements: tides, fire, rocks, hurricanes, and the woods. Born of nature, at the end of their lives, they are reduced to elemental molecules and return from whence they came. Once an elemental has returned to nature, a new Elemental Guardian is born to take over their duties. It was from his predecessor, Udea, that Khazard assumed the responsibility of protecting the ecology of the ocean. This was supposed to be a sacred mission, but Khazard was embroiled in a bizarre fate. When roaming the seas, he constantly heard vague, intermittent murmurs from the depths of the ocean. He began to learn the truth behind the origin of this realm and the unknown domain behind that truth. Even with his wisdom as an Elemental Guardian, he could barely fathom an inch of this domain. Khazard was dejected, as he had thought he was the chosen one while the "truth" echoing in his ears stated he was but a pathetic ant. He realized that all beings, including himself, were living in lies and bound by so-called "reason", like a school of fish sucked into a vortex. Even the gods on the mountains were simply a bunch of fake, self-important deities. So, Khazard's heart began to change. He could no longer look at the world with his usual common sense. Eventually, he followed that voice and dived deep into the depths of the ocean. Amidst the thousand pillars of undersea ruins, he saw a true god who was half asleep. The god turned his countless tentacles into a snake oozing the chills of the deep sea. It surrounded and transformed Khazard, his liquid elemental body freezing into eternal ice. Reborn, Khazard abandoned his original duties and became a corrupt existence in the eyes of mortals. He followed that secret voice again and joined the Hypogeans. The icy snake stayed by his side, as his assistant and also the spying eyes of the master deep beneath the sea. For Khazard, joining the Hypogeans was a means to an end. He wanted to use their power to awaken that true great god he revered and see the truth of the unknown realm. "Wisdom will show you the way!"
