Idle Heroes Heroic Summon: the real odds of every 5★ hero
The 5★ tier is 1.58% per Heroic Summon, but the 121 heroes inside it are far from equal: the best-rated 24 are 30× likelier than the rarest 6.
A Heroic Summon in Idle Heroes lands a 5★ hero 1.58% of the time, and that tier is shared by 121 heroes on 8 different rates. No hero is rated up, but they are not equal either. The best-rated 24 sit at 0.03% each, one copy per 3,333 scrolls on average. The rarest 6 sit at 0.001%, one per 100,000. That is a 30× gap inside a single tier.

Read the last column first. The top 24 heroes take 46% of every 5★ result between them. So when a Heroic Summon does turn up a 5★, close to half the time it is one of those same familiar names. The bottom of the table is the opposite: Alikita, Andrea, Eos, Natalie, Oscar and Tussilago each need 100,000 scrolls on average. That is not a number anyone reaches by saving up, so for those heroes the Heroic pool is not a plan.
A 5★ from Heroic Summon is common enough. A particular 5★ usually is not.

The four core factions each hold exactly 0.36%. Light and Dark together hold 0.14%, less than any single core faction, spread across 31 heroes. No Light or Dark hero reaches the top rate tier, so if one of them is the goal, Heroic Summon gives you the thinnest odds on the board.
Summoning Events and Friendship Summon
During a Summoning Event the Heroic 5★ tier rises to 3.16%, 2× the usual 1.58%. If you are saving scrolls, an event is the time to spend them.
Friendship Summon has a smaller 5★ tier, 0.8%, but it is split among only 34 heroes, every one of them also in the Heroic pool. For the 16 it rates highest, each Friendship Summon gives 0.025% — 83% of what a Heroic Summon gives the same hero. For those heroes, a Friendship Summon is nearly as good as a Heroic one.
Who is not in any summon
The 35 Transcendence heroes do not appear in any summon pool at all: not Heroic, not Friendship, not Basic, not Prophet. No number of scrolls reaches them.
