Echocalypse: most of a maxed Case's HP comes from promotion

At Lv.200 and ★7, promotion supplies 59% to 86% of a Case's HP — and every rarity's promotion track costs the same 71,961,000 gold.

In Echocalypse, most of a maxed Case's HP does not come from its level or its stars. It comes from promotion. At Lv.200 and ★7, the promotion track supplies a median 86% of an R Case's HP, and even for MR Cases it is 59%. Every track costs the same gold to complete: 71,961,000 across 156 steps.

How the stat is built

A Case's stat has two parts. The first comes from its star and level: each star sets a base and a per-level gain. The second is the promotion bonus, which depends on the rarity's promotion track and how far along it the Case is. The two simply add together, and every Case's maxed stats on the roster are exactly that sum. So the question "how much does promotion matter" has a precise answer:

RarityCasesPromotion HP at T20Share of max HP from promotionChips to ★7
R13837,51686%1,470
SR201,030,14076%1,300
SSR781,267,07263%660
UR282,217,35560%660
MR83,991,22059%660

The share column is a median across each rarity's Cases, at Lv.200 and ★7. For every rarity it is more than half.

A Lv.200 Case that has not been promoted is missing most of its HP.

What rarity changes, and what it does not

Rarity decides how much promotion gives. The MR track's HP bonus is 4.8× the R track's. It does not decide what promotion costs in gold: all five tracks charge exactly the same gold at every one of their 156 steps. The materials differ from track to track; the gold does not.

Stars run the other way. An R Case needs 1,470 chips to reach ★7, an SR 1,300, and SSR, UR and MR Cases only 660. So low-rarity Cases pay the same promotion gold for a smaller bonus, and more chips for their stars.

Where the gold goes

Promotion runs through 21 tiers, and its steps are gated by level: the first gate sits at Lv.15 and the final step needs Lv.200. The gold is heavily back-loaded. No tier costs a million gold until T6, and from there each tier costs more than the one before. Tiers T15 to T19 alone take 56% of the 71,961,000 total. The early tiers are cheap enough to push on every Case you use. The last 5 are where you choose.

Levelling has its own bill: 269,490,143 EXP from Lv.1 to Lv.200. That EXP buys the smaller part of a Case's HP, but you still need it, because the level gates are what unlock each promotion tier.

Every step with its materials, gold and stat gain is on the promotions page. The stat calculator shows any Case at any level, star and promotion, and the star-up costs list every chip.
