Top Heroes Hero Recruit: the Legendaries the progress bar hands you, and when
Every Legendary is 0.116% a recruit with no pity — about 860 recruits by luck. The progress bar names 9 of them before recruit 600, starting with Bard at 20.
In Top Heroes' Hero Recruit, every Legendary hero has the same 0.116% chance a recruit, and the odds never rise however long you go without one. By luck alone, one particular Legendary takes 860 recruits on average — 258,000 Diamonds. What changes the maths is the progress bar: at fixed recruit counts it simply hands you a named hero.
The schedule
A recruit costs 300 Diamonds (3,000 for ten). The main Hero Recruit progress bar runs to recruit 2,100, and every step of it is below, with its running cost and the chance that luck had already given you that hero by then:
The bar names 15 Legendaries in all, 9 of them before recruit 600. From there on, the named rewards are mixed in with 10 milestones that give a random Legendary from a pool of 23.
Bard is yours at recruit 20. Luck would give you that hero by then only 2% of the time.
Early names: the bar is the cheap road
For the heroes near the front of the bar, the milestone is by far the cheapest way to get them. Bard costs 6,000 Diamonds; Barbarian arrives at recruit 150, 45,000 Diamonds, when luck would have produced that hero only 16% of the time. If one of the early names is a hero you want, the recruit count is fixed and the price is known — you only have to keep recruiting.
Late names: luck usually gets there first
The further down the bar a hero sits, the less the milestone matters. From Druid at recruit 700 onward, luck has more often than not already given you that hero before the bar does. The last named hero, Adjudicator, comes at recruit 2,000 — 600,000 Diamonds — by which point 90% of players have already recruited that hero the ordinary way. For a late name, the milestone is a safety net under the rare unlucky run, not a plan.
Those luck figures count ordinary recruits only. The random-pool milestones add more chances on top, so the real odds of already having a late name are a little better still.
The heroes the bar never names
7 Legendaries in the recruit never appear by name on the main schedule: Headhunter, Pathfinder, Pixie, Soulmancer, Treeguard, Watcher and Wilderness Hunter. For them there are only two roads — the flat 0.116% a recruit, and the random-pool milestones. Plan for the luck average of 860 recruits, and treat a pool milestone that lands on one as a bonus.
Check your server group
The schedule above is the main one. There are 2 other server groups, each running its own version with a different hero order, different spacing and a different per-hero chance, so find your server on the recruit milestones page before planning around a specific step. Every hero's own chance and when it joins the pool is on recruit odds per hero, and the tier rates are on recruit rates.
