Blue Protocol: Star Resonance: where the EXP to the level cap goes

Reaching Lv.60 takes 217,110,000 EXP, and the last 20 levels are 55% of it.

Levelling an account from Lv.1 to the Lv.60 cap takes 217,110,000 EXP. The last 20 levels, from Lv.40, cost 55% of that. The first 20 cost 13%.

The climb in thirds

The same number of levels in each band, with the EXP each band costs and the talent points it hands out:

LevelsEXPShare of the climbTalent points gained
Lv.1 → Lv.2028,950,00013%9
Lv.20 → Lv.4067,695,00031%12
Lv.40 → Lv.60120,465,00055%12

The last band costs 4.2× the first, for the same number of levels.

Talent points do not follow the EXP. 11 levels grant 3 each, 33 in all, spread evenly through the climb. The expensive last band gives no more of them than the middle one. The first arrives at Lv.8 and the last at Lv.58, so none wait at the cap itself.

Level by level

The first level costs 900,000 EXP. The last one before the cap costs 6,195,000, 6.9× as much. The rise is not smooth: the biggest single step is from Lv.37 to Lv.38, where the cost of the next level goes from 3,750,000 to 4,500,000.

One step even goes down. Lv.33 costs 3,360,000 EXP to leave, and Lv.34 costs 3,300,000. It is the only level that costs less than the one before it.

The flat top

Near the cap the curve levels off. From Lv.46 to Lv.59, 14 levels in a row, each costs only 15,000 EXP more than the last, from 6,000,000 to 6,195,000. The steep part of the climb is behind you well before the cap; what is left is long rather than steep.

What follows for planning

The early levels are quick

The first 20 levels are a small part of the total. EXP earned there moves the level counter fast; near the cap, the same EXP buys a fraction of a level, at up to 6.9× the price per level.

The last stretch is most of the work

From Lv.40 on, each level costs close to the maximum, and that band alone is more than half of the climb. It is where most of the time spent levelling goes, and the band to plan for when judging how far off the cap is.

Every level's cost

The EXP to the next level, stat gains, talent points and rewards for every level are on the Account Progression page.
